Just returned from a family trip to Big Canoe, Georgia. Stopped by a state park with a really impressive waterfall:
And Owen took a few steps on (or on the approach towards?) the Appalachian Trail.
The park had a nice lodge with some checkers:
Most of our time was spent by the pools, though. There was a neat splash park attached to one of them, and after a little practice the boys learned how to time the bucket-dumping element:
This perspective highlights one of my favorite parts of the splash park: It required very little immediate adult supervision.
The other pool was next to a large lake with a sandy beach and canoes and paddleboats. The boys loved digging deep holes and filling them up with lake water.

We just returned from the Appalachian Trail, so it's neat to see how close you guys were! (Well, we were in Tennessee/North Carolina, but still!)
