Happy Family Day!

Two years ago, on December 15th in Zhengzhou, we met Alex for the first time. This weekend, we celebrated!

With books ...

With lunch ... Alex loves Chinese food. I've never seen a three year old get so excited about tofu. The spicier, the better.

And with The Nutcracker ....

Happy Family Day, Alex and Owen. We love you!

SUCH handsome boys!! I love the books you chose - very special (and CNY is right around the corner!)

I hate that our "gotcha" Day and our forever family day aren't the same ;) We laugh about how we were 3/5ths in China..not quite whole. But, it is what it is. Our Forever Family Day is on Christmas and that's pretty special too!

Looks like a great celebration - we are doing something special tonight! We are so glad we were there to share your first special moments with Alex - your family will always be part of our memory of that special day! Hugs to all, especially big boy Alex.

I agree with Sara...we are never sure what day to celebrate! But since we got home on Christmas...I figure that is celebration enough for that day...so the 15th it is!! :)

The boys look awesome!! So handsome and happy!! Happy Family Day to your whole family!! I know we will find a way to see you this summer and I am already excited!!!

Love to you all!

HA! Nothing to tell in the department of returning to China :) I guess it just isn't time yet - I keep telling my Bill that if he waits any longer he will have to get TWO more kids so they won't be an only child :)

He hasn't bitten so far! lol.

The lists are wayyyyyyy too addicting ;)
