The cut-your-own tree selection seems to be getting more limited each year. Last year's tree was tiny and noticeably sparse in lots of areas. This year we avoided those pitfalls, but have a tree that is, I'm fairly certain, wider than it is tall. Still, we're holding firm in our belief that a hayride and a hacksaw are the only way to go!
Update: Bill informs me it is a bow saw not a hacksaw (the latter, apparently, is used to cut metal ... or bone ... yikes). For alliteration purposes, hacksaw remains.
