So now we return to normal levels of chaos. Thanks to completely non-overlapping fall break schedules for the college and the local school district, this is our childcare schedule for the next three days.

Now all we have to do is figure out how to squeeze in research time for Bill and classes, advising meetings with 16 students, and four hours of committee meetings for me. No problem.
In the meantime, we're celebrating another turning point. Today Owen had his 6-year 'well check'. Not only was he ON the growth chart, but -- tipping the scales at a whopping 40 pounds -- he hit the 15th percentile! We haven't seen numbers like these since he was 12 months old and began to slip WAY off the bottom of the growth charts. Hooray for Instant Breakfast, PB & J, and three years of freedom from milk and soy intolerances! Who knows, he may just exceed the weight limit on his car seat by the time he starts college.

Glad everyone is feeling better! I sure hope that we stay healthy around here - especially now that Mya is in preschool, bringing home a little bit of everything :)
