It's been an unusually rough start to the semester. Although Bill is on sabbatical, he's been putting in long hours plugging away (successfully!) on a statistical program (and taking on more than his fair share of sick-child care duties). Meanwhile, I've been trying to balance my regular teaching duties with department chair responsibilities, a looming manuscript deadline, and my work on the college's faculty evaluation committee (which is infamously time-consuming). I have hopes that next week will bring just a bit more time to come up for air.
In the meantime, we've been terribly neglectful of the blog. Better than terribly neglectful of the kids, I suppose. So, without further ado ('cause I have to get back to a pile of grading), the past five-ish weeks in pictures ...
It's good to hear from you. Your boys look great! I can totally relate to the busy factor - my schedule doesn't sound quite as busy as yours, but I am having to work really hard to find some free time. Hope you all find some time to smell the roses. (actually, I guess this time of year it would be taking the time to enjoy the leaves.)
