We just returned from vacation where we had a great time.
Both boys did remarkably well with the 8 hour drive there and back. We filled a backpack with toys that we thought would entertain Alex along the way. And, of course, he ignored most of those but found buckling his lifevest over and over and over again endlessly fascinating. That may well be the best $13 we've ever spent.
During the week, we spent lots of time hiking, in the pool, and at the beach. Both boys seem to be getting so big ....

Nothing like a family vacation to help with some sibling bonding. Looks like you had a fun vacation.
So, are you saying I need a vacation? Could you please write that up in a report and send it to my husband? Maybe, just maybe, that's what it would take for them to realize - YES, this IS their life?!?!!

I'll tell ya - that little Alex is growing up so fast! He has such a handsome little boy face!! Where did the baby go!?! ha ha ha....He just looks so happy! So happy you had this time together! Thanks for the great pics!! I love seeing those sweet men!! :)
