We received an update on Alex! Most importantly, he received at least one of our care packages and can say mama :) He's walking, eating solids (congee and noodles), and is said to "smile easily". We can't wait to see a smile! On his 15 month birthday, he weighed 19.5 pounds (fully clothed?) and was 30 inches long. We'd better bring a few more 12 month clothes .... It's hard to know how much to trust these developmental reports, but it was nice to get an update never-the-less. We received some photos of Alex as well. The red mark under his eye is a case of eczema that is being treated with antibiotics. Poor baby! Our travel dates are not yet set. We're hoping to go in the next 2.5 to 5.5 weeks and our agency seems to be suggesting that the first part of December is likely. We're ready!
